In response to last year’s success, once again your PTA is offering this fun, easy, and educationally-positive approach to fundraising. Even our sponsors let us know how delighted they were to give their support for R.E.A.C.H. Week.

Each child will receive a packet with 10 sponsor letter. He or she (with your help) will address the letters to friends and family, asking them to sponsor the child with a pledge for every minute the child reads. The students will be challenged to read a total of 300 minutes at home and in school during the R.E.A.C.H. Week, 7– day campaign. Once the reading is completed, we’ll inform the sponsors of your child’s progress, and the sponsors will then donate the pledged amount to our schools’ PTA.

Please note: We hope to raise the majority of our operating budget ($26,000) from this campaign, so it is essential that you and your family participate! The money raised will help provide for field trips, teacher enrichment, technology purchases, cultural arts, assemblies, and much more. Last year, we raised over $27,000– with the additional funds we were able to purchase 2 additional Smart Boards for KP and replace part of KG failing sound system along with SOL preparation materials for both schools, plus much more…

With this campaign there are no products to sell and no door-to-door solicitation required!
